Las Vegas, NV - More than 250 women attended Femmoto 2007 on October 7-8 in Las Vegas, and many of them enjoyed demo riding Buell motorcycles on the track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Buell brought its factory demo truck and full lineup to the fifth annual event, which also included several other manufacturers. The most popular Buell models were the sportfighter Firebolt XB12R, adventure sportbike Ulysses XB12X and the lowered streetfighter Lightning XB12Scg.
“We believe that Femmoto is a fantastic event, and we were glad to be involved again this year,” said Leslie Prevish, Harley-Davidson communication project manager. “Femmoto is a unique opportunity for the Company to meet women riders and receive feedback about Buell motorcycles. We loved seeing the wide ‘Buell grins’ appear after they experienced its powerful torque and responsive handling.”
Femmoto, coordinated by Sportbike Track Time, helps women riders improve their riding skills with on-track instruction as well as obtain information, contacts and specialty services/products. Also, since Femmoto is a demo track event, women are able to test ride various bikes in order to find a comfortable bike that fits their needs.
